Tough action on anti social behaviour

Jack McConnell and Catherine Stihler today visited the Abbeyview junior community wardens scheme in Dunfermline.

Speaking following his visit, Jack McConnell said:

"This is a brilliant project, at the heart of an area of Dunfermline that has had its share of difficulties in the past."

"The Abbeyview junior community wardens scheme is a real example to communities across Scotland and highlights the benefits of local people getting involved in their communities."

"Anti social behaviour affects people of all ages, and I fully support these young people who are making a difference and taking a pride in their area."

Catherine Stihler added:

"I am proud to live in Dunfermline and want to be elected so I can fight in Parliament to make Dunfermline and West Fife a great place to live and bring up a family."

"I have made tough action on anti social behaviour a key priority in this by election because people are sick and tired of seeing a minority ruining things for the majority."

"If elected I will do everything in my power to see that communities and the police have the resources and legislation to take tough action on anti social behaviour."
